Award-winning contemporary home featuring the P41A triple-glazed window
Triple-glazing
Triple-glazing offers superior insulation, improving comfort and reducing energy consumption, heating, and cooling costs. It's set to grow in popularity in 2025.
Minimal profiles and unleashed creativity
Maximising natural light is central in building design, with windows playing the key role in connecting homeowners to the natural world to promote well-being. Minimalist designs with slim frames and large fixed glass panes are here to stay. Creative design and specification choices are on the rise, allowing homeowners to create truly unique spaces.
Smart glass integration
Innovative technologies like self-cleaning glass, reflective windows, and solar control glass are in demand by discerning homeowners who want maximum flexibility.
Sustainable materials
Eco-friendly materials and manufacturing processes will be increasingly important, ensuring a smaller environmental footprint.
Enhanced security features
As security becomes a growing concern, triple-glazed windows with advanced security features like laminated glass and reinforced frames are gaining popularity.
By staying current with these emerging trends, you can make informed decisions to enhance your home's comfort, security, and energy efficiency.
Triple-glazing
Performing 40-45% better than double glazing at just 20-25% extra cost, triple-glazed windows are poised to become the new standard in luxury and eco-conscious home design in 2025.
As energy efficiency and sustainability continue to be top priorities, homeowners are increasingly turning to this advanced technology to elevate their living spaces. Triple-glazing helps maintain a consistent indoor temperature, reducing drafts and improving overall comfort.
Regulatory changes like the Future Homes Standard are raising the standard for windows and doors - with 25% of heat loss typically occurring from the windows of a home, triple-glazing plays a key role in building homes for the future.
By investing in triple-glazed windows, homeowners can enjoy a more comfortable, energy-efficient, and stylish home.

Sustainable materials and manufacturing
The future of construction lies in sustainable building materials and practices, prioritizing products with low embodied carbon and renewable resources.
2025 will see a marked rise in consumer demand for windows and doors with verified sustainability credentials made from renewable materials.
Demand for timber products and those using recycled materials is on the rise. Consumers want to know where their products have been sourced, and what the carbon footprint of the entire lifecycle is.
Norrsken alu-clad timber products use only FSC and PEFC-certified timber, ensuring responsible forestry practices. Our products minimize waste through innovative cradle-to-cradle techniques like repurposing sawdust for heating factories and recycling aluminum unused in product cladding. The company's ISO 14001 certification guarantees adherence to international environmental standards.
Alu-clad timber windows offer better thermal performance than most uPVC or all-aluminum windows and have a much lower embodied carbon footprint.
By choosing Norrsken, homeowners can enjoy a stylish and energy-efficient home while contributing to a more sustainable future.

Enhanced security features
As security concerns continue to rise, there's a growing demand for windows that offer enhanced protection. In 2025, we can expect to see a significant increase in windows with advanced security features to deter burglars and provide peace of mind.
All Norrsken products conform to PAS24:2016 security performance requirements. During testing, our products are put through loading tests – 200kg of pressure on windows and 500kg of pressure on doors. Once these tests are passed, the products are put through manual attack. If the items withstand the attack for 15 minutes, the product is given the PAS24 security certificate. Laminated glass and security glazing can be used where required.
By investing in high-quality, secure windows, you can significantly enhance the safety of your home.
