MÄO/POOLE – Viking Window AS, the Estonian manufacturer of premium wooden and aluminium-clad windows and doors, has acquired a 51% majority stake in its long-standing UK distribution partner, Norrsken Company Limited.

The acquisition, completed in December 2024, marks a significant milestone in both companies' growth trajectory and strengthens the delivery of Scandinavian-engineered fenestration solutions to the UK market.

The companies are now announcing the acquisition publicly following the successful completion of integration activities and strategic planning.

The merger enables both companies to strengthen their position in the UK's premium fenestration market, where demand for energy-efficient, Passive House standard products continues to grow among environmentally conscious homeowners and specifiers.

Norrsken will also coordinate and support other current and future dealers, ensuring comprehensive geographical coverage and consistent service standards across the region. This centralised coordination will enable better market penetration and enhanced support for the dealer network.
